Thank you WESH and Second Harvest

We had a great turnout for the WESH Share your Christmas event with the help of Second Harvest from Orlando. They had their semi ready to load the donations and deliver them directly to our food bank. All of the food stayed in Marion County!

The results were in – with 6,722 pounds of food we were happy to beat last years totals along with $1,707 in cash donations.

We had beautiful weather. The cars, trucks, motorcycles and even a bicycle rolled in to deliver food!

Pet care ownerThis lovely lady brought her darling pooch with a car full of pet food because she did not want to leave out our furry friends needing food. She also made a cash donation. She actually comes every year. It was nice to see her early in the morning. She was one of the first ones to arrive!
